Sensitive Politics?

The National Assembly in France approved legislation that would make denying genocide against the law there. The lack of character of those who deny such atrocious acts not withstanding, isn't this an abuse of governmental power?

Hey Luvell, nice to see you blogging. For my money government itself is an abuse of governmental power. As a confirmed libertarian I hold with the old addage "that government governs best which governs least (or a fortiori which governs not at all).

yeah,government abuses like these make one wonder how much of a role government should play in our lives.

i still think government has a role to play, albeit a limited one, if for nothing more than insuring the protection of the least advantaged.
